About the Flammulated Owl

The Flammulated Owl is a very small owl, measuring about 6 inches long with a wingspan of roughly 14 inches. It lives in forests throughout the western regions of the Americas, including British Columbia, the United States, Mexico, and parts of Central America.

Its name comes from the flame-like markings on its wings (“flammulated” means flame-marked). These owls are nocturnal and primarily feed on small insects such as moths, crickets, and beetles.

About the Artist: Andrea Fuenzalida

Andrea Fuenzalida, also known as Drea. Born in Perth, Australia to a family of Chilean immigrants, Drea has lived across the globe from Groote Eylandt in Australia’s Northern Territory, to Port Hardy, BC (Canada), Santiago, Chile, and now calls San Francisco, California home, where she has resided since 1998.

Drea’s artistic journey began with early influences from Aboriginal art, modern cartoons, and video games. She earned her BFA in Computer Arts from the Academy of Art University (San Francisco) and has since worked as a freelance digital artist, collaborating primarily with small, local, and independent businesses. Her creative practice blends traditional methods acrylic painting, hand-made items, and mixed media — with her digital design expertise to bring unique visions to life.

In her graphic design and commissioned work, Drea is known for her versatility developing concepts from scratch in any style or working with existing assets to meet each client’s vision and branding needs.

Through her fine art, Drea seeks to heal and strengthen humanity, channeling positive energy into the dream timeand exploring the colors that express life energy. Her work often combines modern and ancient imagery, weaving together cultural influences to create powerful new forms of art.

“I love nature and I love the city,” Drea says. “Art is powerful magic and I love to paint a positive reality into the universe.”

– Shipping costs are non-refundable. Buyers are responsible for return shipping unless the item arrived damaged or defective.

Exchanges
– At this time, we do not offer direct exchanges. If you’d like a different item, please return your original purchase and place a new order.

Damaged or Incorrect Items
– If your order arrives damaged or incorrect, please email us within 7 days of delivery with a photo of the item, and we’ll make it right at no cost to you.
